What each coin is worth
Each coin has a value — how many pennies it’s worth. A 5p is worth 5 pennies!
A coin’s value is how many pennies it equals. A 5p is worth 5 pennies; a 10p is worth 10 pennies. The number on the coin tells you its value. Bigger coins are not always worth more — check the number!
