More Than, Less Than
The words we use to compare
We say one number is ‘more than’ or ‘less than’ another. Let’s practise the words!
15 is more than 9
6 is less than 14
12 is less than 18
More than means bigger; less than means smaller. 15 is more than 9. 6 is less than 14. Always count or picture the numbers if you are not sure!
